EirGen breast cancer drug receives European Approval

EirGen Pharma are pleased to announce pan European approval of their early stage breast cancer drug Eir-010. This product will be commercially launched in selected European territories in October 2009. This represents a significant milestone for EirGen as it our first pharmaceutical product to receive pan European approval according to co-founder Tom Brennan. Co-founder Patsy Carney also stated that this approval coupled with our strong pipeline allows EirGen to be in a position to significantly increase headcount in these difficult times as we transition towards an organisation with a strong commercial supply base to complement our research based track record
